Thrift Gull is a static publication. This page explains, in plain language, the full extent of what happens to your data when you read it — which is very little, by design.
What we collect
Nothing, directly. Thrift Gull has no analytics trackers, no advertising pixels, no fingerprinting scripts and no user accounts. We do not set cookies for tracking purposes. The site is served as plain HTML and your reading habits are your own.
Server logs
Our host automatically records routine technical data — your IP, the browser you used, which pages were requested and when — purely for security and operations. These logs rotate automatically and are never sold, shared or used to profile readers.
Messages sent to the address on our contact page land in our inbox as ordinary email. We use it only to reply. We do not add readers to mailing lists — we don't operate one — and we never share correspondence with third parties.
Third-party requests
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts; your browser connects to Google's servers to fetch them, subject to Google's own privacy policy. Beyond that, this site makes no third-party requests: all charts, images and assets are served from this domain.
Outbound links
Our guides occasionally link to external sites we consider useful. Once you leave thriftgull.site, the destination's own policies apply. We choose links editorially and accept no payment for them.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the revision date above will move and the change will be described on this page. Questions about privacy can be sent any time via the contact page.
